The Desert Sky Cinema closed temporarily for two weeks due to low attendance and few new movie releases. They reopened on Feb. 26 with to show the new Tom and Jerry movie, but when we spoke to the owner Tom Becker, he was quite worried.

"“We are doing absolutely no business and are not being supported by the community, and we don't have any new movies to open so rather than open with old crummy movies no one’s going to come to see we’re going to close for a couple weeks,” he said. “We're hoping people come to support us. It's really bad.”

Would you go to the cinema to support them, or are you still streaming movies from home to avoid the COVID-19 risk? What do you think about the situation surrounding movie theaters?
