I've been reading a 2021 research piece called "The active grandparent hypothesis: Physical activity and the evolution of extended human healthspans and lifespans."
Active grandparent hypothesis is the idea that "evolution favoured those who engaged in lifelong physical activity because it reduces vulnerability to chronic disease."
Green Valley is full of organizations and communities that encourage active, healthy, physical activity. So, I want to explore that in a feature.
Are you a Green Valley resident? How do you stay active? What kind of clubs or activities here encourage you to stay physically active?
Do you have any insight into how you made physical activity a habit in your life here in Green Valley?
