For those in the area that may be unaware, Colorado River toads can be deadly to dogs if they ingest the poisonous toxin toads can secrete from glands on their body. Unfortunately, Sir Bogie, a 4-year-old Shih Tzu-Yorkie mix, and his owner Noma Nel Hayden found this out the hard way.
