A new pilot program is instilling science research skills in the minds of high school students in rural areas, and Sahuarita High School is participating.

The program through SARSEF (Southern Arizona, Research, Science and Engineering Foundation) pairs a teacher with a research fellow who will come to class throughout the year to help with classroom-level research projects.
